100 g egg whites
89 g sugar
74 g nuts (almond, pistachio, cashew, etc) ground or coarsely chopped (your choice)
- Beat the whites and sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the nuts of your choice.
- Bake in a 400 F preheated oven for 10 mins then turn the temperature down to 300 F and continue baking until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
- Tip: slice the meringue into desired shapes before it cools down completely.
